NFU Mutual sponsoring WIA webinars

The UFU WIA initiative was created to recognise and celebrate women’s contribution to the industry and as a physical event cannot be held this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the UFU have adapted plans for virtual events on 14, 21 and 28 April.

NFU Mutual’s sponsorship highlights their continuous support of women in the farming industry.

Martin Malone, Regional Manager for Northern Ireland, commented: “The conference is a great event to champion the role of women in agriculture, and so we are very proud to be giving our sponsorship.”

The virtual events will be led by BBC Farming Matters presenter Nicola Weir. Guest speakers include Veronica Morris Rural Support, Norma Rowan Embrace FARM, Michelle Shirlow Food NI, Chloe Dunne PHD researcher/Breedr marketing manager, Esther Skelly Smith, Shanaghan Veterinary Service and Claire McCallion, PKF-FPM Accountants.
