The club took part in the YFC president’s charity appeal Mood Walk which saw members taking socially distance walks around the local areas.

In November the club held their first club meeting via Zoom. Everyone played online bingo and got to catch up with members who hadn’t seen each other in a while. It was a great success.

In December members from Straid YFC had the chance to have a baking night.

They were tasked to make Mars Bar buns. This provided a great night’s craic, and the club got to
see who was the real star baker.

Later, in December the club were busy rounding up essential items for the foodbank charity appeal, with even donations from local business.

This was greatly appreciated by all involved.

Meanwhile the end of January saw the club welcome the new Straid YFC committee.

A big thank you must go to the club’s outgoing committee. This year was a challenging year for all clubs and members. Everyone wishes the incoming committee the best of luck.

Straid YFC hope to get back to in-hall meetings but for the meantime Zoom calls aren’t too bad.
