Savage sees new milk vending machine

ABC Deputy Mayor Kyle Savage was a recent visitor to Weir Farms at Rathfriland this week to see their new milk vending machine in action.

He visited the farm on the invitation of local Ulster Unionist Councillor Jill Macauley.

She commented: “I was delighted to bring our Deputy Lord Mayor Kyle Savage along to Weir Farms this week to let him see for himself the fantastic Milk Vending Machine venture they have started just a month ago! And what a busy month for the family farm it has been, as they have been blown away by the popularity of their milk and milkshake selection with customers in the surrounding area.

“Their farm fresh milk from their unique red and white cows, is gently pasteurised on their family farm in Rathfriland It’s natural and tastes great!

“As a council Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council, we are very supportive of our local Agri-Food Sector and our Ulster Unionist Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Councillor’s group always highlight the importance of valuing the tireless work our farmers and producers do all year round.

“We welcome positive business diversification projects like this one and wish every success to Nigel, Elaine and the whole Weir family, as they continue to produce and provide a healthy and high quality local product for consumers on the doorstep.”
