UFU Facebook group available for members

The Ulster Farmers’ Union Facebook group was developed for members only. Due to the large volume of content that needs to be promoted through the UFU channels, the group enables the UFU to share information that is primarily for members within this exclusive platform.

This includes UFU policy updates, president updates, Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs content, vital information that relates to members’ farm businesses, surveys giving farmers the opportunity to have their say on particular matters, Farm Family Health checks information, membership services, weekly beef price watch, milk price indicator every fortnight and more.

The group also creates the perfect platform for members to engage with one another. Members can ask questions and comment under posts. The UFU monitors the group page and does its best to respond to every comment by members.

If you are a member of the UFU but have not yet joined the Facebook group, the UFU encourage you to do so as it is a great way to keep up to date with all the latest ongoings in the UFU and the wider world of NI agriculture.

The joining process is very quick and straightforward. Members can search for the ‘Ulster Farmers’ Union members community’ in the Facebook search bar and on request of joining, they will be asked three simple membership related questions. This includes what is your membership number, email address and what do you farm.

Please note, it is extremely important that you provide answers for these questions. Otherwise, the UFU will not be able to find your membership on the database and cannot add you into the group.

If you have any queries about the Facebook group or have any difficulties joining, please feel free to send a direct Facebook message or email [email protected] or [email protected].

Just send us a direct Facebook message.
