At the recent careers day at CAFRE Enniskillen Campus, Rosalie Purcell from Ardara, Donegal received a bursary award from Giltspur Scientific.

This bursary was to commend her achievement in the Competition Preparation module, which is a first year module on the Foundation Degree (FdSc) Equine Management programme.

Students were required to write an essay on the ‘Importance of incorporating the Training Scale when preparing horses for affiliated competitions’. The winner received £500 to assist with her studies.
