ONE of Ireland’s top international rides Yvette Truesdale come to Castle Leslie on Sunday to host a dressage clinic.

Riders came from Cavan, Armagh, Monaghan and Portadown to get tips from this international rider.

Yvette, who needs no introduction, has represented Ireland at the World Equestrian Games and also recently picked up ribbons with her horse Has To Be Fun at Olympia.

The lessons certainly impressed those taking part.

Mary Anne Woods, from Monaghan, commented: “My lesson was just super my little horse Buttons really came on. To have a rider of this level teaching me and my horse is just a complete treat. I am already excited for next month’s clinic and I have plenty to work on.”

Yvette plans to be hosting a clinic next month and she is already planning a demo in March with her horse Fun.

Jenny Richardson, equestrian business manager for Castle Leslie, would like to thank Yvette for taking time out of her schedule.
