Continuing on from the success of the largest ever inter schools showjumping league, The Meadows Equestrian Centre is very excited to launch the annual St Patrick’s inter schools show on Thursday, March 17.
Organisers say this year’s show is going to be even bigger than ever with the continued sponsorship from TRI Equestrian and Baileys Horse feeds ensuring that all winning competitors will be treated to some superb prizes.
This annual inter-schools competition will see both teams and individuals from primary and secondary schools taking part in this exciting schools event. Last year’s schools from all across Ireland travelled to take part, from Donegal to Enniskillen and this year will be no different.
The competitions consist of primary, novice and open team and individual events as well as a primary individual 50cm class allowing riders of all ages to represent their school.
The show will kick off on Thursday 17th March in Arena 1 with the ever popular novice team class (85cm), followed by the open team and individual events (max 1m) and then the Premiere Individual class (max 1.10m) immediately after the open classes.
Arena two will start with the primary individual 50cm class followed by the primary team competition (70cm) then the Primary individual (70cm) and then the novice individual competition (85cm).
As well as prizes on the day for each class there will also be prizes awarded for the best turned out and spot prizes sponsored by Baileys Horse feeds.
Entries close at 5pm on Monday, March 14. All entries must be completed and prepaid online before the deadline. Visit www.themec.co.uk; contact Aaron on 07711 815267 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
