Northern Ireland-based fleet company Fleet 4U has announced it is to invest £150,000 into the company this year, creating new jobs and expanding its Portadown premises.
Fleet 4U, part of the Shelbourne Motor Group, has just taken on two new staff and has plans for further job creation later this year.
The move comes as sales and business customers increased by over 50% in 2015.
With over 40 years’ experience in the motor industry, the business offers vehicle contract hire and leasing to hundreds of public and private sector customers across Northern Ireland.
Director of Fleet 4U Paul Ward says: “2015 went from strength to strength and the time was perfect for us to invest heavily in continuing to grow the company and its presence through Northern Ireland, as well as in the rest of the UK and Ireland.
“We have pledged to invest over £150,000 initially which will be pumped into taking on new staff, training of existing staff, systems, premises and marketing, including a new website which will make it much easier for customers to see our wide offering.
“We are a local company which understands the local market and we know that there is no ‘one size fits all’ fleet customer: some businesses require just two cars, others 200; some require the same make and model, others need a mixture of new cars and used vans.
“We make it an easy process for companies and we are delighted this investment will aid us even further.”
The move will see a revamp of the current premises on the Tandragee Road in Portadown, with new offices in place by April, and the launch of a new brand to mark the transition.
Fleet 4 U offers new and used cars and vans in all makes and models, as well as an extensive range of hybrid and electric vehicles.
