69 sheep stolen in Fintona area

Police in Omagh are investigating the report of the theft of 69 sheep (similar to those in the photograph) from the Fintona area.

Constable Jayne Rowley said: “Sixty-nine Black Faced Horned Mayo sheep were stolen from the Ecclesville Road area, close to Murley mountain.

“The sheep, which have a blue mark on their shoulder, are thought to have been taken sometime between 3.30pm on November 18th and November 26th.

“Did you see anything suspicious in and around the area? Can you help police with their enquiries? If you can help please call the 101 number, quoting reference number 770281115. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
