90 cull cows sell to a firm trade at Markethill

An entry of 90 cull cows sold in another very firm trade at Markethill on Tuesday 9th June.

Beef bred cows to £161 for 710k at £1145 followed by £156 for 700k at £1100. Main demand from £120 to £145 per 100 kilos. Fleshed friesians cows from £105 to £119 for 640k at £755 and up to £980 for 880k (112). Second quality friesians from £88 to £100 per 100 kilos and the poorest lots from £60 to £80 per 100 kilos. Clean cattle from £165 to £185 per 100 kilos.
