‘Meeting Market Demands Through Co-operation’ is the title of the annual British Cattle Conference 2015, which is being held in Telford, Shropshire on 19-21 January.
The packed programme for the two-and-a-half day event features presentations from global experts on cattle breeding. It begins with a beef workshop on Monday afternoon, while Tuesday’s programme covers beef, with a parallel dairy workshop held in the afternoon. Wednesday is ‘dairy day.’
Throughout the conference, leaders in the field will focus on how cattle breeders will meet the challenge of increasing the efficiency of beef and dairy production, while minimising their impact on the environment and protecting consumers.
British Cattle Breeders Club chairman, Dr Phil Hadley, said: “The British Cattle Breeders’ Conference 2015 is a must-attend event for those involved in the bovine sector. The 2015RYUP programme will cover a wide range of highly relevant issues, including the role that the beef and dairy sectors play in human nutrition, meeting consumer needs and the long term sustainability and profitability of the cattle industry.
“We have a number of world class speakers who will share their knowledge and insight, with plenty of time available for debate and discussion.”
Places for the conference can be booked online at www.cattlebreeders.org.uk or contact the secretary: email@example.com or telephone 01409 241579.
