Agricultural Contractors WA Livingstone and Sons from County Armagh have unveiled plans for their 3rd annual charity Christmas Tractor Run.
The event takes place on Saturday 27th December, and all proceeds will be donated to the Southern Area Hospice and the NI Children’s Hospice.
This year’s event will start off in the heart of Armagh City, at the Armagh Business Park on the Hamiltonsbawn Road.
Participants are invited to register at 10am. Everyone will enjoy a snack before departing on the tractor run at noon. The route will be through Armagh to Killyea and on to Caledon, returning to Armagh for a barbecue and a fun-filled afternoon for all members of the family.
The tractor cavalcade is expected to arrive in Killylea at 1pm, and in Caledon at 1.30pm.
A spokesman for the organisers said:”This is a great community event with young and old taking part. Everyone turns out in force to support the nominated charities, and admire the vast array of tractors taking part.
“A warm welcome is extended to all tractor owners and enthusiasts to support the third annual Christmas tractor run. We expect hundreds of tractors to take to the roads, and spectators are welcome to join them en route. Everyone is encouraged to view the tractors and enjoy an afternoon’s craic at Armagh Business Park from 3pm onwards.”
The event supported by Armagh City and District Council and Armagh Business Park.
To date the Livingstone family have raised over £45,000 for charity.
