County Down Young Farmers Clubs are coming together to bring back ‘Strictly Young Farmers’ for a re run.

This year Co Down YFC dancers are planning choreography which is more ambitious than ever before; rumours of couples arriving on stage suspended from the ceiling and live backing singers and livestock on stage are rife. In association with principle sponsors First Trust Bank, Co Down YFC present Strictly Young Farmers 2016.

On 23rd January 2016, Co Down YFC’s will light up the stage once more and this year they are helping local farmers in need by raising funds for Rural Support.

Jude McCann, chief executive of Rural Support said: “I’m delighted to see Co Down Young Farmers’ Clubs raising much needed funds for Rural Support.

“I can tell you every donation helps ensure we provide advice, a listening ear and opportunities to as many farmers as possible, especially those going through difficult mental health and financial difficulties.”

The couples have been practising hard under the expert direction of Shane Berger and his team.

The show will feature 12 fabulous couples from across County Down and once all the dancing is done the power will be in the hands of the audience, to decide who will be crowned ‘Strictly Champions 2016’.

Co Down YFC’s invite everyone to join them for a huge night of sparkling live entertainment, celebrity judges and fabulous dancing displays all in aid of Rural Support.

Tickets (£15 including entry and show programme) are available to purchase online, simply search ‘buy tickets Strictly Young Farmers’ or follow the link on the Facebook page.
