On Tuesday 9th February Cookstown Young Farmers’ Club held its AGM which was chaired by Janette Sterling.

All roles were declared open and newly elected into office were, Samuel Mayne as club president, Ashlie McLean as club leader, Morgan Crooks as assistant club leader, Kirsten Henry as club secretary, Alice Cunningham and Peter Bell as club treasurer, Niall Hutton and Joyce Allen as club PRO.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing office bearers for all their hard work and dedication in the last year.

In the next few weeks the club look forward to taking part in the club dairy stockjudging along with the county dairy stockjudging competitions.

The club will be hosting a big bun sale on Saturday 7th March from 10am to 4pm in The Hub Cookstown and they will also be releasing new club shirts.

This is just to name a few of the upcoming events in what is going to be a very busy year for Cookstown Young Farmers’ Club.
