The Dexter Cattle Society NI Group annual dinner took place at The Ramble Inn Antrim where the company enjoyed an excellent meal.
James Eccles as chairman welcomed everyone and introduced the proceedings for the evening giving a resume of the events of the year.
He then introduced Paul Callaghan as the guest speaker.
Mr Callaghan was then asked to present the cups and trophies to the winners from the shows.
Starting with the Balmoral Show, cup winners were as follows

The Herd Points Salver (new this year) was won by the Ballyloughan Herd.
Second was the Ballyhartfield Herd and third the Ballyboley herd.
These three also received rosettes and vouchers from Homeopathic Veterinary Supplies.
The raffle, organised by Alex Montgomery, was a great success raising £200 and an auction of cushions decorated with a Dexter cow raised almost another £100 which will be donated to the selected charity for this year, which is Assisi Animal Sanctuary.
The chairperson thanked the speaker Paul Callaghan for his interesting talk, The Ramble Inn staff for an excellent meal and service, and all who had worked so hard during the year in support of the Dexter Group.
He wished everyone a safe journey home and showing success in 2016.
