Two new product launches will form the centre piece of Redrock Machinery’s presence at this year’s Balmoral Show.
The event will see the Co Armagh company unveiling its new straw chopper and bale feeder. The Redrock C300 is a semi mounted machine, which has been designed for feeding and bedding.
It provides a means of transport to the distribution site for loose fodder –including clamp silage – plus all types of hay, straw and silage bales.
“The C300 can be used for the distribution of all types of fodder plus the chopping and spreading of straw for bedding,” explained Redrock managing director Frank Flynn.
“It has been specifically designed for the UK and Irish markets.”
The new machine can be operated by tractors with upwards of a 65hp rating. It has a 3 metre cubed capacity and will handle both round and square bales. It features a self-loading rear door. When operating the C300 can handle two round bales: one in the chopping chamber and the other on the rear door, the upwards movement of which pushes bales towards the chopping knives. The C300 can spread straw up to 18 metres from the chopping point.
Redrock will also be exhibiting its latest range of silage and train trailers at Balmoral. These feature a new hydraulic door specification.
Frank Flynn continued: “This represents a major upgrade of our entire trailer range. Farmers and contractors will benefit from the greater versatility, which the new door provides. In addition, our new trailer range is priced more competitively.
“All of the other items in the Redrock range will be on display at Balmoral. This includes tub feeders, paddle feeders, slurry tankers, slurry pumps and shear grabs.”
