Euro Auctions, the UK’s leading auctioneers of industrial plant, construction machinery and agricultural equipment, predicts its upcoming three day unreserved Leeds auction, from Wednesday 24th to Friday 26th August, could see 4,000 plus lots go under the hammer, making it the UK’s biggest used plant and equipment auction to date.
Noticeable consignments contributing to this bumper sale come from leading UK plant hire companies currently restocking and making way for new additions to their fleet. Ardent (who recently took over OneCall and ForkRent) have 200 plus 2013 – 2015 machines entered, with many others from A Plant from CW Plant Hire, Select and WH Bond.
Euro Auctions has always had good relationships with European plant rental providers and with favourable exchange rates now is a great time for them to refresh their inventory.
At this sale Euro Auctions are pleased to report that nearly 1,000 quality ex-rental machines will go under the hammer, are coming to this sale to make way for new additions to their fleets’ reports a spokesperson for Euro Auctions.
Euro Auction has seen an increase in the number of bidders from Europe and around the globe pre-registering for this event; so coupled with an upsurge in demand for equipment and softer Sterling exchange rates, this three day auction is shaping up to be one busiest and best to date, and with so many desirable lots on offer buyers should be able to secure some real quality machinery.
Noteworthy items already in the auction sale catalogue include a choice of 25 2013 JCB 540‑170 and a choice of 20 JCB 535-140s. Then there is the usual vast array of loaders, graders, telehandlers, mini through to high capacity tracked excavators, along with a wide selection of rollers, general agricultural tractors, plus various size dumpers, forklifts, man lifts and trailers.
There is also a fleet of other vehicles ranging from quad buggies, executive cars and low mileage prestige 4x4s, through to Land Rover Defenders, vans and top-end tractor and fixed wheelbase units; plus a myriad of small miscellaneous plant, equipment and agricultural lots. So there should be something for everybody; there is even a Knupp 3045 45 ton 6x4 crane unit. Noteworthy ex-rental lots include:
30 + telehandlers
34 + road rollers
45 + mini excavators
60 + excavators (14 to 23 tonnes)
40 + dumpers (3 to 9 tonnes)
40 + man lifts
Euro auctions reports that with so much equipment being put into this sale requests for pre sales viewings are up considerably. Auctions are quite simply the best place to go to source nearly new and used equipment and this market remains extremely buoyant for all concerned. Buyers have access to an array of quality and affordable equipment while sellers benefit from strong demand and continue to realise good prices.
Other upcoming Euro Auctions sales include an auction in Dormagen, Germany on 7-8th September; in Zaragoza, Spain on 14th September; in Dromore in Ireland on 16-17th September; and then returning to Leeds on 12-14th October.
