Only a few days remain to the annual Livingstone Christmas Tractor Run, with final preparations being put in place for the charity Tractor Run on Saturday 2nd January 2016 from the ABP on the Hamiltonsbawn Road, with a new route for 2016, through Hamiltonsbawn and Richhill.
The charity events will see hundreds of tractors from near and far descend on Armagh to support two great charities - Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and Southern Area Hospice. The tractor run is in its fourth year and to date has raised over £60,000 for charity.
Tractor registration will take place at ABP on the Hamiltonsbawn Road, Armagh starting at 10am, with participants advised to get there early to see the other tractors taking part and enjoy a snack before the tractors depart at 12 sharp. The route will start from the ABP on the Hamiltonsbawn Road and head for Hamiltonsbawn, onto Richill, before returning via the Mall EAST to the ABP for a BBQ, Auction, afternoons craic and a closer view of all the hundreds of tractors taking part. Even if you haven’t a tractor call up to the ABP and bring the children to see the tractors from 2pm, if you don’t see them before they go, or on route - all welcome at this charity event.
This is the perfect opportunity for tractor owners and admirers young and old, as well as the middle aged to come along and support two great charities the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and the Southern Area Hospice.
The Livingstone Tractor run is run by Wesley Livingstone and sons, including Stanley, David, Randal, Cedric and Clarence, with some help from their family and friends with all proceeds go to charity.
