The 1150 hoggets sold readily. Heavy hoggets sold from £88 to £95 each and up to 371p per kilo for 24 kilos at £89 each. Main demand for good quality pens sold from350p to 364p per kilo. In all, 455 heavy hoggets averaged 26.7 kilos at £91.90 each (345p).
Middleweights sold to 389p per kilo for 21.5 kilos at £83.80 each. Good quality pens sold from 365p to 386p per kilo. In all, 520 middleweights averaged 21.7 kilos at £80 each (369p).
Good pens of stores sold from 360p to 397p per kilo for 15.5 kilos at £61.50 each.
Heavy cull ewes sold to £94 each. Main demand sold from £70 to £84 each.
A full yard of ewes and lambs returned a steady trade. Doubles sold from £170 to £252 each. Singles sold from £115 to £145 each.
