Two cheques have been presented to charities following fundraising events in recent months.
One is the proceeds from an open day held in early January at the farm of John Dan O’Hare from Annaclone, while the other is from Peter McEvoy, who ran a Tractor Run on Boxing Day at Katesbridge.
Speaking at the presentation Stephanie Wallace, said: “Thank you so much to my beautiful brave little princess for inspiring so many amazing people to fundraise for this amazing charity, Daisy Lodge.
“For us as a family going through this terrible journey with Emily, Daisy Lodge has been such a support to us and tonight I would like to say a special thank you to our neighbours John Dan and Bernie O’Hare and all their family and close friends who organised an amazing weekend, raising a colossal £18,962.54.
“I would also like to thank our other neighbours Peter and Ann McEvoy for doing a tractor run on Boxing Day and raising £1,000.
“Everyone who attended Daisy Lodge last night have helped Emily raise lots of money for this amazing facility, but I would also like to thank everyone in our community near and far for every penny that they have donated to Daisy Lodge since Emily’s diagnosis in September 2015.”
Stephanie added: “Through this journey so far, Emily’s daddy Sean and all his concert goers and music connections have raised a massive £30,000. From the bottom of our hearts, as Emily’s family, we would like to thank you all so much.”
