GEA Farm Technologies has recruited Declan Casey from Cloughmills as its technical engineer for Northern Ireland.
Part of the global GEA group, which is one of the largest suppliers for the food processing industry, GEA Farm Technologies concentrates on a portfolio of milking machine technology, milk cooling equipment, manure and feeding systems.
Formerly known as WestfaliaSurge, GEA Farm Technologies has a wealth of experience in the industry and a packed portfolio of quality products.
Based in Warwickshire the company has just installed its first MIone robotic milking system in Northern Ireland near Donemana in Co Tyrone.
Complimenting its conventional milking programme with an expanding range of dairy farm automated systems, Declan’s job is to support the GEA Farm Technologies dealers in his area.
His role also incorporates delivering training programmes to the dealers when new technology is introduced.
Declan hails from a dairy farm in Cloughmills near Ballymena in Co Antrim and has extensive experience in the world of robotic milking having worked in the industry previously.
