Gleno Valley YFC held their annual general neeting on Tuesday 27th January 2015 at 8.15pm in their club hall.

Janette Stirling from Glarryford YFC kindly gave up her time to come along and chair the meeting on the evening.

The meeting began with club secretary Drew Mills recalling the minutes of the last AGM followed by his secretary’s report.

Club treasurer Stephen Crawford then handed out a very well presented table of the annual accounts followed by his treasurer’s report.

Once these had been concluded all the club positions were declared open by Janette and the AGM begun.

The new 2015/16 club officials for Gleno Valley YFC are as follows: patron - Sammy Peoples, president - Drew McCluggage, honorary auditors - Joanne Duncan and John Henning, club leader – Andrew Howie, assistant club leader - James Buchanan, secretary – Stephen Rainey, assistant secretary – Stephanie Mcllroy, treasurer – Stephen Crawford, assistant treasurer – Andrew Weatherup, public relations officer – Ellen Cross, assistant PRO – Emily Booth, county council representative – Drew Mills, Ulster Farmers’ Union representative – Joel Maybin, grants co-ordinators - ReverendDr John Nelson, hall co-coordinator - John Howie, stock judging scorers – Gareth Paisley, Iain Wilson and Philip Buchanan: catering supervisor, Emily Lyle, Johanna Gray, Jocelyn Rainey, Emma Holden and Elle Carmichael, Duke of Edinburgh Award co-ordinators – Drew Mills & Stephen Crawford, sports co-ordinators –Iain Wilson, Gareth Paisley, Amy Wilson and Kerry Mcllwaine.

Gleno Young Farmers’ Club will once again be holding their annual barbecue which will be held at Larne Rugby Club on Saturday 2nd May 2015. Music by Harmony Dance.
