Heifers sell to £1,205 for 550g at Swatragh

Cattle: Another strong seasonal entry of quality cattle on Monday 12th September met a flying trade with a very good ring of buyers with some very good prices, more quality stock required to meet demand.

Heifers selling to £1,205 for 550g (£2.19 per kg) and bullocks selling to £1,130 for 480kgs ( £2.35 per kg).

Sheep: Another excellent entry of 1,985 sheep at Swatragh on Saturday 10th September witnessed a super lamb trade. Several pens of heavy lambs sold well in excess of £82.00 each to a top rate of £85.20, middleweight lambs sold to £81.00 for 23kg, store lambs sold to £47.50 for 12.5kg and ewes sold to £104.00 with over 250 on offer.
