Heifers sell to £585 for 264kg (£2.21 per kg) at Swatragh

Cattle: Another strong seasonal entry of quality cattle on Monday 25th July met a flying trade with a good ring of buyers with some very good prices, more quality stock is required to meet demand.

Heifers selling to £585 for 264kg (£2.21 per kg), bullocks selling to £605 for 262kgs (£2.31 per kg).

Sheep: Another super entry of 1,485 sheep at Swatragh on Saturday 23rd July witnessed a very good lamb trade. Several pens of heavy lambs sold well in excess of £82.00 each to a top rate of £85.80, middleweight lambs sold to £84 for 23.75kg, store lambs sold to £68 for 17kg and ewes sold to £100.00 with over 250 on offer.
