With three of six Northern Ireland specialist dealers designated as Fleet Centres, sales of Isuzu D-Max in NI are up a massive 60% year to date.

Isuzu dominate the pick-up sector, with D-Max firmly established as NI’s number 1 best-selling pick-up in 2016.

“Appointing dedicated Fleet Centres early this year was a huge leap forward and has attracted many, many new customers,” said Peter Eakin.

“We run the full range of sales demonstrator D-Max’s, and operate extended opening hours and priority turnarounds for servicing and maintenance. We lend Isuzus to keep clients mobile and working. Our order books are at record levels, it’s been Isuzu’s best ever year in Northern Ireland and a sales record for each of the six dealers here.

“Businesses demand reliable vehicles that are economical to run, have minimal downtime, and rapid attention when something needs sorting – from minor bumps and scrapes to tyre renewal, tacho fitment and servicing. Drivers enjoy a welcome hot cuppa in a warm waiting area with WiFi connectivity and business facilities, whilst we turn their vehicles around. We have a comprehensive knowledge of tacho and towing regulations should clients require guidance or advice.

“Isuzu’s warranty delights new customers – 125,000 miles and/or five years whichever comes first. That’s double some of our competitors, D-Max is less expensive to buy than most and still tows a class-leading 3.5 tonnes,” said Billy Smyth.

“With Isuzu’s outstanding residuals Contract Hire delivers modest initial rentals at seriously affordable monthlies; partial or full maintenance packages can be included should clients require. We use Lex Contract Hire – the UK’s sector leader – which adds expertise, flexibility and customer confidence. Payments can be monthly, quarterly, seasonally or annually. Isuzu’s team of Pick-Up Professionals are trained to listen, then tailor funding solutions for your business’ circumstances.

“Taxation – corporate and personal – is extremely important yet little understood. Isuzu builds and sells only pick-ups - so we fully grasp the fiscal rules around commercial vehicles. There are significant business and personal tax benefits from choosing a pick-up over a car. With the Isuzu range there is no sacrifice involved – our flagship Blade offers bespoke leather, heated seats, Bluetooth, air-con, power seat adjustment and electric windows, power mirrors and park sensors. Any D-Max can be upgraded with European satellite navigation and reverse camera, and a plethora of canopies and tow hitches to suit every need.”

Isuzu has over 100 dealers across the UK, a third of which have attained Fleet Centre status so there’s nationwide back-up for corporate operators.

“Call in and see us soon, our doors are always open for business,” said Peter Eakin. “You’ll be sure of a warm welcome on even the coldest winter days.”
