Kubota UK is gearing up for the Royal Highland Show this month, one of the most highly anticipated events in the agricultural calendar, where it will be exhibiting a range of its new and existing tractors and groundcare products.
Taking place in Edinburgh between 18th – 21st June, Kubota is showcasing a broad range of its tractors, including the M7171 KVT, the very latest high specification and high power tractor. Powered by a 6.1L Kubota CRS diesel engine, the M7171 KVT is the first of a line up of machines suited to the larger farmer, featuring an economical CVT transmission, front axle and cab suspension and a choice of options including a precision farming package.
For the livestock sector a range of cabbed and Rops tractors will be on display and completing the line up will be the M128GX-II model. A new addition to the range, the M128GX-II with 24 x 24 speed powershift transmission, high lift capacity and a cab with outstanding operator visibility, is already popular with farmers.
Models from Kubota’s range of RTVs will also be on display, including its RTV400 and RTV-X900. Specially designed to tackle aggressive hill climbing or smooth controlled descents, the utility vehicles are ideal for use on farms due to their ability to reach wide areas of land without getting into difficulty.
Other vehicles set to make an appearance include the GR2120 ride on mower, incorporating a glide steer system to enable the operator to carry out more sharp turns than that of a conventional mower. Kubota’s GR1600 diesel mower will also be available to view at the show, featuring a glide cut direct collection system and easy-dump grass collector for an exceptionally easy user experience.
Kubota Groundcare Business Development Manager, Adrian Langmead, commented: “The Royal Highland Show is one of the most diverse events of the year and one we really look forward to exhibiting at. This year we will be demonstrating how versatile and extensive our range of tractors and groundcare machinery is and showcasing to farmers the benefits of choosing a Kubota.”
