A graduate at estate management company Land Factor in the north east of England is celebrating after attaining a top qualification.
Jessica Cartwright, 24, from Weardale, has passed the final exam of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
She already holds a degree in Rural Land Management from the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester and joined Bywell-based Land Factor in 2013, having worked for land agencies in West and North Yorkshire.
Jessica, whose hobbies include travelling and skiing, comes from a farming family in West Yorkshire, which inspired her decision to become a rural surveyor.
“Since I joined Land Factor I’ve thoroughly enjoyed broadening my experience in all aspects of rural surveying and am delighted that my hard work has paid off and that I am now a fully qualified surveyor,” she said.
Land Factor, which operates throughout the North of England and Southern Scotland, provides a wide portfolio of services, including management, administration, capital tax planning, farm sales, valuation, project management, forestry and farm consultancy advice to estates of all sizes.
Associate director, Hugo Remnant said: “Jessica is a valued member of the team and her exam success will not only be of great benefit to her, but will also strengthen the service we offer our customers.”
