Lylehill YFC have recently started their winter programme of meetings, beginning with two new members nights at their club hall.
On Monday, 7th September they held a games and pizza night, and on Monday 14th September an information evening.
Both meetings were well attended by members and it was great to see a lot of new faces enjoying games such as the newspaper game and ‘Pass the Polo Mint’.
Lylehill YFC members look forward to the action-packed programme ahead of them this year, with a jiving meeting this Monday night, 21st September.
All are welcome to come along to the club hall and learn a few moves to their favourite country tunes – it guarantees to be a great night’s craic.
The next meeting after this is a quiz night on Monday 5th October which will be held in the club hall.
Members look forward to testing out the grey cells and a bit of friendly competition.
As well as club meetings, all the YFCU competitions are fast approaching, and practices are already beginning for floral art, public speaking, group debating and the choir festival, among others.
The next social event in the Lylehill calendar is their Chinese banquet which will be held on Friday, 6th November in the Bambou, Templepatrick.
Tickets are £20 per person and are available from Lorraine Taylor (07773114755) and Paul Thompson (07936321638).
All are very welcome to attend for a tasty meal.
