There was an excellent entry of sheep presented at Hilltown on Saturday 11th April, which sold in a firm trade.

Top price of £99 for 27k spring lambs from Rostrevor farmer.

Top rate of 461ppk for spring lambs at 19.5k making £90 coming from same home.

Good quality ewes sold from £100 to £138 each, with second quality ewes from £62 to £86 each.

A packed yard full of ewes and lambs sold to £222 with doubles from Kilkeel farmer and singles to £138 each, from Castlewellan farmer.
