Dairy stock sold to £1310 for a calved heifer at Markethill on Tuesday paid to a Portadown farmer.

The same seller received £1250, £1240 and £1190 for calved heifers.

CULL COWS

The 130 cull cows sold in an excellent trade for all classes. Fleshed beef-bred cows sold from £130 to £165 for 720k at £1185. Top price £1190 for 740k (161). Fleshed friesians to £1135 for 820k (139). All fleshed friesians from £110 to £122 per 100 kilos. Second quality friesians from £90 to £105 per 100 kilos. Poorest quality friesians from £65 to £80 per 100 kilos.
