Heavy lambs sold to £71 each with most pens selling from £64 to £67 each. Top rate of 270p per kilo was paid for 24.2 kilos at £65.50 each with others from 260p to 269p per kilo. The entire entry of heavy lambs average 25.1 kilos at £65.70 (261p).
Middleweight lambs sold to 310p per kilo for 20.3 kilos at £63 each. Main demand for good quality pens sold from 275p to 300p per kilo. The entire entry of middleweight lambs average 21.7 kilos at £61.80 (285p).
Another very large entry of store lambs returned an excellent trade with light stores selling to 384p per kilo for 12.7 kilos at £49 each, followed by 379p for 13.7 kilos at £52 each. Stronger stores sold from 300p to 328p for 18.1 kilos at £59.50 each.
Cull ewes sold to £80 each. Main demand sold from £58 to £77 each with seconds from £45 to £55 each.
A full yard of breeding hoggets sold to £150 each with several pens selling from £120 to £147 each. Suffolk ram lambs sold at £350, £330 and £300 each.
