The Northern Ireland Charolais Club is delighted the way the MINSUPS Championship has taken off the ground this summer.
The club has notched up good numbers of charolais qualifiers at shows and look forward to picking up some more quality Charolais at Newry, Castlewellan and Omagh in a bid to produce a good line up in the six classes on the day.
First and second placed animal in each qualifying Charolais Class will qualify for the MINSUPS Charolais Final at Clogher Valley Show on Wednesday 29th July 2015
The following classes are held at qualifying summer shows:
Cattle entered must be in the British Herd Book six months on the date of the Grand Final of this Championship.
Owners of the cattle must be members of the NI Charolais Club.
Cattle in this competition must also be entered in their relevant Classes at Clogher Valley Show.
Qualifiers at local shows will receive a qualifying rosette and will be photographed for pre final coverage in local press.
r Bulls born from 1 April 2014 to 31 July 2014
r Bulls born from 1 August 2014 to 31 December 2014
r Bulls Born on or after 1 January 2015
r Heifers born 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2014
r Heifers born 1 July 2014 to 31 December 2014
r Heifers born on or after 1 January 2015
£40.00 attendance money will be awarded to each qualifying animal exhibited at Ballymena, Ballymoney, Lurgan, Armagh, Saintfield, Newry, Omagh and Castlewellan who attend the final at Clogher Valley Show.
£20.00 Attendance allowance will be awarded to animals qualifying at Clogher Valley Show, who participate in final.
Prize money in each of the six classes at the Final will be:
1st - £80.00, 2nd - £60.00, 3rd - £40.00, 4th - £20.00
The club is indebted to MINSUPS for sponsoring this summer spectacular and look forward to the grand final in Clogher.
Six champions and reserves will be chosen on the day.
