New result website is launched ahead of 2015 season

A new Pigeon Craic result site as just been launched.

You can visit the site every week for the up to date results from all organisations.

You can also post your comments, pictures or videos.

Log in to or use the link on the top bar on the pigeon craic site Click on results tab, then register on the site. Register as Club Admin (only one per club - this is the person posting the result each week) or register as a member (as a member you can comment on any results from any club and post pics etc).

What will the site do? The site will show the results as you the fancy post them. On the front page there will be a box showing all the latest results (posted in past seven days by the relevant club, time of posting and top two in club plus click to view full result.

The club admin/members can post any comments and pictures plus information on the latest winners and prizewinners plus any club information. Posting a picture is very simple. Go to the relevant race result, then click on the add image button. Select your image from your computer, click on image, post image.

The only thing now needed is for the fancy to join the site.

The NIPA season is due to start again on the 18th April weekend with a race from Tullamore in County Offaly.

There will be three new drivers in the transport team and they join three from last season. The club pick up times came under close scrutiny and it has been necessary to make some changes on some routes.

The new Convoyer is Paddy McNeice and Ivan Mawhinney returns as Race Controller.

The East Down Combine started their old bird season at the weekend with an opening race from Tullamore. The birds were liberated at 9am into a south westerly breeze and a fast race was on the cards. At the time of going to press the likely winners of 1st 2nd & 3rd Open is the partnership of Harper & Young - Drew Harper & Martin Young - Cloughey HPS - velocities 2157, 2145 & 2144.
