The Farm Safety Partnership has teamed up with the Irish Football Association to highlight the importance of safety on the farm.

Ahead of the crucial Euro 2016 home qualifier match against Greece, Northern Ireland and Manchester United football star Paddy McNair, who was raised on a County Antrim farm, joined HSENI Chairman George Lucas and UFU President Ian Marshall to show his support for the ongoing Stop and Think SAFE farm safety campaign.

Paddy McNair took time out to sign a special Northern Ireland shirt in support of the ongoing ‘Stop and Think SAFE’ farm safety campaign. The signed shirt will be a prize for one lucky visitor to HSENI’s stand at next year’s Balmoral Show.

The campaign focuses on the four main causes of death and injury on local farms – slurry, animals, falls and equipment (SAFE).
