The short and medium term prospects for the dairy industry in Northern Ireland will be discussed at a breakfast event organised by the Northern Ireland Institute of Agricultural Science (NIIAS) on the morning of the 2015 RUAS Winter Fair.

The event is being kindly sponsored by Siemens and First Trust Bank.

Speaking at the event will be Gabriel D’Arcy, the chief executive of the newly formed Lacpatrick co-op which recently started trading after a merger between Town of Monaghan and Ballyrashane co-ops.

Also presenting will be Jason McMinn, who runs Farmgate Consultancy, one of the leading agricultural consultancy businesses in NI, providing specialist business advice to some of our most progressive dairy farmers.

The event, on Thursday 10 December, starts with breakfast served at 7.30am. Venue is Gowdy’s Restaurant, 60 Gravelhill Road, Lisburn BT27 5RW, a short drive from the location for this years’ Winter Fair, at Balmoral Park, Maze outside Lisburn.

The event costs £10 for members, £15 for non-members and £5 for students. As places are limited, booking is essential. Please contact NIIAS Secretary Robert McKnight by emailing or phone 07756009770, on or before Friday 4 December. Everyone is welcome to attend.
