Leading loader manufacturer Schäffer have launched the 9660T which further extends the capabilities of their range of pivot steer telehandlers.
The 9660T combines the all round view and traction force of a standard wheel loader with the lifting height and reach of a telescopic loader.
The 9660T has a tipping load of 4.7 tonnes, an operating weight of 11 tonnes and a maximum lifting height of 6.1 metres.
UK Sales Manager Paul Gower expects the 9660T to meet the needs of large scale livestock farmers: “We have delivered our first machine to Richard Williams of Wrine Hall Farm near Crewe. We are also in discussion with contractors and operators of biogas plants.”
The 9660T incorporates ‘SDCT’ – Schäffer Dual Clutch Transmission – combining double-clutch transmission with hydrostatic drive for the first time. The result is higher traction force in a drive that is comfortable and easy to handle.
The new model will be shown at the Livestock Event at the NEC in Birmingham on July 8 and 9. Shäffer will be at Stand MH392
