Cattle: A seasonal entry of quality cattle on Monday 14th December sold to a sharp trade with some exceptional prices, more quality stock required to meet demand. Heifers selling to £870 for 470kg while Bullocks sold to £680 for 310kgs.

Sheep: A very strong seasonal entry of 675 sheep at Swatragh on Saturday 12th December witnessed a challenging lamb trade. Several pens of heavy lambs sold well in excess of £71.80 each to a top rate of £73.80, middleweight lambs sold to £70.20 for 23.25kg while store lambs sold to £54.00 for 18kg, ewes sold to £74.00 while in-lamb ewes sold to £110.
