The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) has announced the Seminar Suite Schedule for the 29th Royal Ulster Winter Fair in association with Danske Bank.
The Winter Fair will be held in the King’s Hall Pavilions on 11th December. As the premier event in the Northern Ireland dairy calendar, it provides an opportunity for farmers, exhibitors and industry specialists alike to meet.
For farmers seeking guidance, the highly successful Seminar Suite will be returning this year.
The seminars are free of charge and will run regularly throughout the day, providing valuable and informative advice on many dairy and agriculture related topics.
David Laidlaw (RUAS) commented: “The Seminar suite has grown each year and has been extremely well received. We are excited about this year’s format as industry specialists will be talking on numerous pertinent topics such as robotic milking and renewable energy. There is a full schedule from 10am until 4pm which really adds to the Winter Fair experience.”
Speakers ranging from Delavel to Pharvet (Ireland) Ltd will be providing advice and business solutions to customers. One of the speakers, Sean Convery from The Greenyard (NI) Ltd said: “We will be on hand to demonstrate to farmers how renewable energy can contribute to the farm business and improve returns on selling green energy.”
