Killelagh and St John’s Community Association celebrate their tenth annual fun and vintage day in Davitt Park, Swatragh on Saturday 12 September from 12 noon until 4pm.
Every year the association welcomes large numbers of vintage cars, tractors and stationary engines from all parts of Northern Ireland and further afield.
This year each exhibitor will have a chance to take part in a free draw with prizes of £50, £30 and £20.
There will be entertainment for all the family with a wide variety of stalls selling arts, crafts foods, jewellery etc. Music on the lorry will entertain all day and there will be Bonny Baby, Little Miss Swatragh and Little Mr Swatragh competitions.
This year the association will have ongoing demonstrations of churning and the waft off the griddle will entice everyone to sample fresh home baked treacle and soda scones topped with the freshly churned butter, a reminder of days gone by to our more senior visitors and a new experience for our youngsters.
Entry £5.00 per adult. Children free.
