Tractor road run raises £900

THE CHEST Heart and Stroke Association will benefit to the sum of approximately £900 as a result of Saturday’s 6th annual tractor road run organised by Leslie Morrow and Stephen Robinson.

With weather conditions ideal, the event was a great success, attracting a grand turnout of 96 tractors.

The roadrunners set off from Leslie’s yard just outside Carnalbana, travelling towards Cairncastle, Larne, stopping for the half way stop at Stephen’s yard, close to the old Drumnagreagh Hotel. Stephen’s vintage collection was on display.

The cavalcade then set off again, heading towards Glenarm before finishing off at Aughagash.

Leslie and Stephen would like to thank everyone who took part in the event and everyone who helped in any way to make the event such a success, raising such a creditable sum for such a worthy cause.
