With the late summer weather holding out the air across the country had the familiar scent of Nitrogen, Sulphur and a bit of methane thrown in. All tanks should be now well prepared for the now current closed season.
“There is no better time to get your tanks treated,” exudes Mark Crawford of Farmcare Products. “The longer Slurry Gold is in the tank, the more it can work. Therefore less of a chance of solids, lost nitrogen and pungent odours come February.”
One simple application is all it needs to get the work the work done. Mark advises: “Obviously every storage situation is slightly different, so do not be afraid to call us if you have any concerns.”
New Mini Tub
Slurry Gold can now be sourced in a new 0.5kg Mini Tub. Mark explains: “We have always been asked about difficult to mix small tanks of approx. 40-50,000 gallons. Although the larger tubs will last for up to three seasons, we felt it much easier to provide a specific size for such an application. Also it is a great trial size for those who want to try it for the first time.”
John Peters of South Down Feeds have been selling Slurry Gold for over 5 years and advises all farmers to use it. “Simply all of our customers who have used it, continue to use it. And now there is a smaller tub it will be easier for those who have the small traditional difficult to mix tanks.”
