The team at Tully Farm are looking forward to the harvest season.
Michael McFall of Tully Farm said: “We at Tully Farm love to celebrate the harvest season and this September 19th and 20th in Gosford park Armagh we are doing it in style by creating Northern Ireland’s first Native breed harvest food festival to coincide with Septembers poultry fair.
“Tully Farm will be displaying native breed cattle, sheep, pigs, hens, boars and deer, where the public will be able to see and touch the animals but more importantly our good friend Paul Rankin, along with many other celebrity chefs will be giving a master class in home cooking to all in attendance.”
Mr McFall continued: “Under the watchful eye of Michelle from Burren Pedigree Stock we are showing Aberdeen Angus, Beef Shorthorns, Herefords Irish Moiled Cattle, Dexter, Commercial cattle (Native Sire) and Rare and other traditional/native breeds, with extended closing date for cattle classes 5th September.”
He added: “We will also have a large craft/local industries tent along with a huge artisan food marquee.”
And there is something new for the festival. Mr McFall explained: “We are also delighted to announce the Northern Ireland Pygmy Goat Club will be showing on Saturday 19th with large crowds expected.”
There will also be plenty of family favorites like including Tully Farm’ fun dog show, carnival amusements, Tully Farm Olympic Games, miniature farm animals display, Show and Shine Car display along with a live outside broad cast from DownTown Radio/Cool FM.”
