YFCU tag rugby competition in association with Danske

The YFCU’s annual tag rugby tournament, which is run in association with Danske Bank, is kicking off next week.

County heats for the tournament take place as follows:

l Wednesday 27th July at Ballymoney Rugby Club at 6.30pm for Counties Antrim and Londonderry.

l Thursday 28th July at Portadown Rugby Club at 6.30pm for Counties Down, Tyrone, Fermanagh and Armagh.

The tag rugby tournament will take the form of two sections, junior (age 12-14, age 14-16, age 16-18) and senior (age 18-21, age 21-25 and 25-30). Teams should consist of seven players with up to four substitutes. At least three girls must make up each team.

Winners of the County heats will then proceed to the final which will be held on Wednesday 10th August at Omagh Rugby Club.
