‘Our family, friends and neighbours are dying’ says MLA in plea for people to stay at home

Sinn Féin’s John O’Dowd has appealed for everyone to do what they can to stop the the spread of Covid 19.

Mr O’Dowd said: ‘Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon council area continues to have highest rate of Covid 19 infection (576.6).

“The average seven-day infection rate per council area (January 13-19) average is 313.2.

Sinn Fein's annual 'Away Day' meeting will take place in the Carrickdale Hotel, Co. Louth on Wednesday 11th September.

The meeting is attended by elected representatives from across the island and will address the issues of Brexit, Irish Unity, Sinn Fein's alternative budget and Dail priorities.

‘Our family, friends and neighbours are dying or getting ill as a result of the spread of the virus.

‘People spread the virus, stay home keep safe,” said Mr O’Dowd.

“Many workers are facing difficulties in either being allowed to work from home or facing financial difficulties self isolating.” said the MLA.
