A larger entry of stock saw prices holding firm despite all the uncertainty of falling beef prices with steers peaking at £1,490, 775kg Hereford (193.00).

While heifers topped at £1,210, 615kg Limousin (197.00).

Dropped calves peaked at £350 Belgian Blue bull and heifer calves to £365 Aberdeen Angus.

Weanlings prices peaked at £975, 435kg Charolais steer (223.00) and weanling heifers to £610, 300kg Charolais (201.00).
