Strong trade for cattle at Markethill Mart

An entry of 600 cattle at Markethill on 12th November continued to sell in a very strong trade.

BULLOCKS: There was an entry of 250 store bullocks. Forward bullocks sold from £190 to £212 per 100 kilos for 548k at £1160. Top price £1290 for 634k (£203 per 100 kilo). Good quality middleweights from £200 to £222 per 100 kilos for 404k at £895. Good quality Friesian bullocks sold readily from £145 to a top of £173 per 100 kilos for 546k at £945. Top price friesians at £1010 for 668k (£151 per 100 kilos.
