Swatragh Mart: Bullocks sell to £1,350

Cattle: A great show of good quality cattle was presented at Swatragh Livestock Mart on Monday 16th April 2018 which was met with a busy ringside and a good trade for the cattle on offer.

Heifers sold to £1,170 for a Shorthorn weighing 594kg.

Bullocks sold to £1,350 for a Limousin weighing 630kg.

A few springing heifers sold to £1,310 for a Limousin calving to an AI Limousin bull.

Cull cows sold to £990 for a Limousin weighing 784kg.

Over 1,500 sheep were presented for the weekly sheep sale at Swatragh Livestock Mart on Saturday 14th April 2018, which resulted in a super trade for all sorts.

Almost 400 ewes were presented for sale, with many lots passing £120, with the top price of £134 being paid for several lots.

Fat rams topped at £136.

Breeders reached £175 for ewes with twin lambs at foot.

A great show of 600 head of hoggets and spring lambs were presented for sale which also seen some great prices, topping at £140 for 2 lambs at 30kg.
