Busy start to the summer for Spa Young Farmers' Club

Spa Young Farmers' Club have had a busy start to the summer. They held their annual tractor run on May 7 which raised £535.

This money will be split between the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance and the fundraising for a defibrillator in the local Spa area.

Spa’s annual treasure hunt was held on June 10 and raised £150.

This money was raised in aid of Motor Neuron Disease.

Well done to the Connolly team which came first in the treasure hunt this year.

Committee member Matthew Patterson was also presented with club shirts for his YFCU exchange to Montana over the summer.

The club would like to wish Matthew all the best for his trip.

On June 19 Spa Young Farmers’ Club held their annual church service. Well done to all members who took part in the service.

The club would like to thank all community members, family and club members past and present who attended.

Spa Young Farmers’ Club will be holding their annual sports night on July 8, starting at 7pm at Ballynahinch Rugby Club.

This night is open to people thinking of joining the club to come and see what being a Young Farmer member is all about.

The sports night will be a relaxed night of fun and games, the much loved water games will also be making an appearance so be sure to bring a spare change of clothes and a towel.

This is always a great night’s craic and Spa YFC would love to see some new faces.
