Danger warning as children play on ice at NI lakes

The PSNI issued a message via Faceboook after the children were spotted playing on the ice at Craigavon Lakes.

In a post, police said: “We have had multiple calls today regarding children playing on the ice at Craigavon Lakes.

“This is incredibly dangerous given the freezing temperatures of the water underneath.

“Parents, please have a chat with your child and educate them on the dangers and we will continue to patrol the area.”
