Teenage girl taken to hospital after crash in NI town

A teenage pedestrian has been rushed to hospital after a crash in an NI town this morning.

The NI Air Ambulance was in attendence at this morning’s crash on the Banbridge Road/Carrick Vale Road area of Lurgan.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a one-vehicle road traffic collision in the Banbridge Road / Carrick Vale area of Lurgan just before 9am this morning, Tuesday 4 May.

“A female teenage pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which at this time, are not believed to be serious.

“Anyone who witnessed what happened or has dashcam footage of the incident should contact police on 101, quoting reference number 296 of 4/5/21.”
